Taryn Faye Chavez

Meet our first baby girl, Taryn. She had us waiting a while before she decided to make her debut. Her original due date was October 27th, but she held out for a better day. We were pretty anxious Halloween night. Tera’s parents and sister-in-law came over for the evening and passed out candy and had a nice dinner together. Tera and Tiffani spent the earlier part of the day shopping around Southlake Town square, unbeknownst to Tiffani, Tera was already “a three”. Tiffani was pretty surprised later that evening when she found out she was shopping with a woman on the verge of going into labor. We checked into Plano Presby around 5 o’clock in the evening and started settling in for the evening. Tera had a restless evening with some pretty significant back pain. We survived the night but were up at 3am as anxious as ever. Our RN, Amanda was awesome; she helped Tera through labor like a pro. Tera only pushed for 30 minutes and Taryn was here! I could get into some serious trouble if I said, “It was a piece of cake.” But she did awesome! Our little girl Taryn Faye Chavez was born November 2, 2009 at 2:53pm, weighing 6lbs 15oz, and 19.7 inches.

I’m not in many of these photos, but you are seeing things through my eyes, memories that will last a lifetime and an what an awesome feeling. I’m happy to share this with each of you.
