This past week I had the opportunity to meet some amazing people who attend Irving Bible Church. I am sure I share the same experience as many of you who attend a place of worship when I say that it is sometimes difficult to get to know others who are in your community due to the size of your church. The fact is many people we shake hands with, sit next to, and attend bible communities with have a unique way they came to know Christ. The creative staff at Irving Bible is preparing to publish an article in Chatter, their monthly publication, and I was asked by the creative team at Irving Bible to photograph Harry and Jenna so they can have some imagery to include with their article. The article titled “Because He Is Alive”, introduces Harry and Jenna along with their stories which are truly humbling and amazing. I would love to share them here on my blog, but I’m not. Instead, I am going to provide a link to their story when it is published. I can’t explain the feeling when you look at someone and know of their struggles and pain. I wonder how society would be different if each of us saw one and other in that way. Perhaps the character of your heart would compel you to treat one and other with dignity and more respect, and be humbled and compassionate.
