I had the honor of documenting the Irving Bible Church’s Pentecost festival this past Sunday. My wife and I have been attending Irving Bible Church for close to 5 years now and we have made some great friends there. If you have never visited IBC before I would definitely attend a Sunday service and see for yourself just how awesome it is. I have to say that just seeing things through the camera lens gave me a greater understanding of the diversity on this day in particular. As the services let out and the town square filled with people, you could see how this festival was affecting people in the most positive ways imaginable. Just look at these images as seen through my own eyes and see the warmth and caring smiles of the families and friends willing to share a part of their lives with others in celebration. During the Pentecost by the miracle of the Holy Spirit the disciples were able to speak in the native languages of the people present. Here the same holds true, each person was able to share in this experience in the same way.
Hi Evan,
First… thank you for doing this!!! AMAZING! I would like to purchase one of the pictures you took at IBC on Sunday that I saw on facebook. It is of the band in the sanctuary. My sons best friend, who is 16, had his debut in the worship band on Sunday… would love to purchase it for him. If you could sell me the digital copy, I would like to add a scripture to the image. What a blessing to see the vivid colors and images from the day! I left my email address so you can contact me.
