San Diego {Semi-Vacation}

So, this week my wife, daughter and I flew out to San Diego for a large corporate event that my wife helped to plan for American Airlines. I decided to take some time off work and spend a few days in San Diego to relax with my daughter while Tera attended her event. During our stay, my daughter and I had a ton of quality time together. We strolled through the Gaslamp district of San Diego and then spent an afternoon down by the docks where the huge carrier ship Midway is docked. We had so much fun sightseeing and shopping around downtown…Hmmm that sounds a lot like something my wife should be writing, but I’ll go with it. I got quite a few stares pushing a stroller around this area of town, but I didn’t mind. I even got a ‘You go boy!” shout out from some homeless woman on the side of the street!

This evening was the first night that we got to spend together as a family since our stay, so we ate dinner on Coronado Island and walked along the pier which had an amazing view of downtown San Diego. I was dying to take some photos!

I really love this shot because it captured a precious moment for me which will be preserved for many years. I plan to share this story of my time with my daughter in San Diego with her when she is a little older, but I am thrilled to have such a special image of her with her mom. I love you guys.
