Tera and I were ready to bring our new baby home from the hospital. We woke up pretty tired, but excited on Wednesday morning. Dr. Kelli V. Watkins came by to check up on Taryn and see what a perfect little girl she delivered into the world. I have to say Kelli is a wonderful doctor and we were blessed to have her with us. After we were finished up with all the consultations and last minute tests, we gathered up our stuff and headed down to the car. I was pretty nervous because I wanted to ride home to be safe and as short as possible. On the way home I remember looking down at the speedometer and thinking, “Yes, I am actually going the speed limit.” I was afraid I would be holding up traffic!
Once we pulled up to our house, I got things ready to document the big event. Tripod and timed shutter…don’t fail me now. We documented what we could on our own and were relieved that we were finally home. Later that evening, Tera’s parents brought us some dinner and spent the evening just soaking it all in.
